I am not a salad lover!

So this is the first week of our office 'biggest loser' I am feeling a lot of pressure as I should kill everyone else in the pool as I am the only one with poundage to lose. I am sitting here eating my second salad in as many days, using a low fat italian dressing and I have to say... that it is not my favorite food! I do enjoy a good salad, but I think I like the toppings as much as or more than the lettuce and I love a good bleu cheese or ranch dressing, but that defeats the purpose of eating a salad in the first place (other than the obvious enjoyment factor)! I decided to go a head and give up my diet coke as well since I am trying over all to be healthy - that lasted for about 36 hours! But I did limit myself to one 12 oz. which is considerably less t han the 2 32 oz. consumed on some days!! So here I am making Texas Sheet cake at the restaurant, surrounded by food and I don't dare eat anything!! Who knows how many calories I have consumed by just snacking here and there?! About the only positive I see in this contest is it is making me actually think about what is going into my body. I hopefully will lose some poundage and get back into that box of clothes that are probably 10 years out of style! (I wonder if I even kept that?!) Anyway... give me a cheeseburger over a salad anyday... but for now and the next 5 weeks, I guess not!

Good luck. A couple of fairly easy tips--don't eat after a certain time. Chew gum while you're working.

Exercise, exercise, exercise.

I know you can do it.

Sheri, I have some good salad reipes that i love.....I have never been a fan of italian dressing.....UNLESS....it is covered in parmasan cheeese...ha!ha!

P.S can I add you to my blogroll? I have been wanting to do it forever and was thinking I should ask you first.

Fresh baby spinach, strawberries, almonds and poppy seed dressing. The best salad ever and oh, so easy!

Everyone: don't get me wrong... I do love a good salad, just not every meal!!
