I have since reflected on how grateful I am for the Father that I am blessed with. My dad is one in a million. He has always been faithful and true to his faith and convictions. He has been a hero to me all my life and is someone I look up to and turn to always. I am thankful for the relationship that we have shared throughout my life as it has given me strength and courage and plenty of laughs along the way.
I look at the Father of my children and am amazed by him everyday. He works harder than anyone I have ever known. He is strong and has great strength of character. His ability to continue in the face of adversity is amazing. He has a great sense of humor and has a huge heart. We are in the middle of teenage years - but I have high hopes that someday soon, my boys will see him for the amazing man that he is and wish to emulate him. The girls have him wrapped around their little fingers - as it should be!!
I didn't know Greg's Dad Buck very well, but loved him for being a crazy BYU fan and a great singer and fun guy to be around. I am grateful to know and love Greg's step-father, Harold. He has been a source of great strength to our family and we love him for filling the role of Grandpa and Father so well. He is also a man of great faith and character and someone we both admire.
I am ever thankful for my Heavenly Father and the gifts of amazing people in my life to walk with me through this journey. I am grateful for the wonderful example of REAL men in my life! I love you Dad and Greg and Harold! Thank you for being extraordinary men!
