Randomness

Haven't posted for a little while ... May is a crazy month for me as I have 3 birthdays and school getting out and the list goes on!! I finally got round to having a get together for the boys for their birthdays they each invited a friend or two and we went to a movie (Percy Jackson - lightening theif) which we had already seen - but I couldn't find How to train your Dragon anywhere close so that was it! none of the friends had seen it - so they had fun! We then went to  Texas Pride Barbecue for dinner and sang Happy Birthday with cupcakes! Then I took them all home - not the big party they were hoping for, but hey - that's life right now! Brie is still waiting for her big party!! Maybe I can schedule it in mid June!!
Bryson and Caden are playing Baseball and enjoying it - it's kind of disorganized and we have to drive 40 min. to each game - but they really wanted to play! (And because I feel guilty for always moving during baseball season I said okay!) Caden and Austin signed up for football - Bryson wisely passed on this particular opportunity for fear of ending up hurt! Bryn and Brie are signed up for soccer in the Fall - so let the madness begin!!
I met up with some friends from Mountain Green (the Christensen's) at Texas Pride tonight and had  a fun chat! It made me think about how many friends and people we have met over the years of all or travels... and even though I hate moving I can't imagine not knowing all of the wonderful people that I do because of the moving! (speaking of moving - yes we are once again looking for a place to rent in Ogden Valley - the home we are in is up for sale so we need to find a new place! The kids really like it here and do not want to move elsewhere and neither do we! So we are praying and looking and hoping for the right place to become available for us!)
I was also thinking tonight about this crazy past year at Texas Pride and I have to say that the funnest part for me has been watching Greg 'bloom' for lack of a better word - I love to see him interacting with people and getting to know and form ties with the local people and the regulars that come up to eat his delicious food! I always knew he was a great pit master and would succeed with his food, but it's been fun to actually see him out socializing and getting to know and be friends with people that I don't know! It's been incredibly rewarding to have our fiends and family supporting us and coming up to see us and there are days that we can actually see the dream taking shape and coming true! We are hopeful for a fantastic summer and that all of his hard work - our hard work will start paying off! Anyone who knows Greg knows that he is the hardest worker around - I honestly do not know how he does it - but I am proud of him for fighting the fight to keep his dream alive. He deserves for it all to work out and I pray that it will.
I am really happy at Zimbi Dental - I love the Dr.'s that I work with and Tami is awesome! I do miss the ladies at Layton Hills and am still working there every other weekend. Some days I feel like I cannot continue on and I am exhausted trying to be a provider and a mother and help at the restaurant and be supportive of Greg, but thankfully it usually only last a day or two and then my spirits are renewed by kids, friends and family and I continue on to the next almost breakdown! I really am hopeful that life will settle down a little and allow us some room to breathe and we can really enjoy our blessing instead of just surviving them! :)
And just for the record... I AM SO HAPPY IT IS SUMMER!! I CANNOT WAIT FOR SOME WARMTH!!

Wow, you are a busy woman. Happy Birthday to your boys (and, of course, little Brie)

I wish we had had time when we were there to stop by and see you (and have some yummy food ; ) Maybe another time.

I hope you have a wonderful summer. Good luck finding another place--and I hope it is right where you are.

Hugs.
