Thank you blogger friends and family!

Thanks for the comments... life is tough, but I am thankful for good friends and family who help me keep it in perspective. We have our health and eachother and all of you! My sister Julie told me to 'count my many blessings' and that is what I intend to do! I do have many... does that mean you will never read another whiny post from me? sorry, but no, this is my journal... so you get what I am thinking and feeling... when I write things down it helps me put my thoughts and emotions into a better perspective so that I can view it more objectively than letting it  run around and around in my head!!
Mary Lynn, if you do read this... thank you so much for your comments! Yes, I remember you... if you have a blog I would love to read it!!
Anyway, just a quick post to say thank you to my family and blogger friends. You help keep my sane in the midst of my crazy world!!
P.S. I read a fabulous article this morning in the Sept. 2009 Ensign by Jeffery  R. Holland Titled :Lessons from Liberty Jail. I highly recommend it! I really needed it!

"As a valedictory to the lessons from Liberty Jail, I refer to the last verse of section 123: “Therefore … let us cheerfully do all things that lie in our power; and then may we stand still, with the utmost assurance, to see the salvation of God, and for his arm to be revealed” (D&;C 123:17; emphasis added)."

Sheri - Don't worry about spilling the load once in awhile. We all do it. Venting seems to bring perspective. Remember always that I love you!

Elder Holland also had a great quote in last week's Sunday School lesson about building the Salt Lake Temple...
When Jeffrey R. Holland was president of Brigham Young University, he compared the building of our lives to the building of the Salt Lake Temple:

“The prestigious Scientific American referred to [the Salt Lake Temple] as a ‘monument to Mormon perseverance.’ And so it was. Blood, toil, tears, and sweat. The best things are always worth finishing. ‘Know ye not that ye are the temple of God?’ (1 Corinthians 3:16.) Most assuredly we are. As long and laborious as the effort may seem, we must keep shaping and setting the stones that will make our accomplishments ‘a grand and imposing spectacle.’ We must take advantage of every opportunity to learn and grow, dream dreams and see visions, work toward their realization, wait patiently when we have no other choice, lean on our sword and rest a while, but get up and fight again. … We are laying the foundation of a great work—our own inestimable future” (However Long and Hard the Road [1985], 127).
