So I took the kids to the Balloon Festival last night and it was not the greatest experience! It was crowded, and the kids were not happy as they could not ride in the balloons... I decided next year we will just watch them from our yard!!
This morning I woke up to the distinct sound of the flame heating a hot air balloon - I wasn't sure that was what it was and thought it was just in my head from the night before - nope they were right over our house and one landed right behind our house, so we woke up the kids and they ran out to see it and they all got to go up for a short ride in the balloon!! Talk about a great morning surprise! They were all thrilled! We were late for church... but as my friend Sherene said - how often do you get to take a balloon ride? You go to church every week!!
Argh.... I just burned lunch!:(

That looks like so much fun. I love all the pics.
Beautiful! Panguitch has a balloon festival in June every year. It was kind of fun to watch, but would have been better to ride!
That sounds so fun Sheri! What are the odds that a hot air balloon would land behind your house? It must have been divine intervention!! I bet the kids loved it!
