This moment

I just want to say that I am sooo grateful to belong to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I love having a place to go on Sunday where I am uplifted by hearing others testimonies and experiences. I love having somewhere to go and express my own thoughts and testimony. It is amazing to me that if I go with questions and or a prayer in my heart, I can always receive inspiration and answers through anothers thoughts, lesson or testimony. I find great strength and comfort in knowing that Heavenly Father not only loves me, but really knows me and and wants me to see His hand in my life and hopefully help others along the way. It is overwhelming and amazing to know that at some point in the Garden of Gethsemane, my brother and Savior, Jesus Christ thought of me and suffered for me and my sins, stress and inadequacies so that He would know how to help me on my journey here on Earth.
Life is HARD! There are so many challenges and things to learn and overcome. I truly do not know how I would do it without my testimony of the gospel and all that it encompasses. I am ever thankful to belong to the family that I do. I have amazing people surrounding me and lending me their strength when needed. Our family motto is THT = To Heaven Together! How wonderful it is to know that we can indeed be in Heaven together, that this life is not the end, but just a part of the journey and we have the opportunity to share it all together. It helps me get through those times when a loved one leaves us here on earth, especially those who leave way too soon.
I have been blessed with an amazing husband! Yes, he drives me nuts sometimes and I know I do the same to him, but I also know that we are a team and ultimately want the same thing. Marriage is a lot of work, but so worth it if you are both willing to put the effort in. To have someone to share everything with, that loves you with all of your imperfections (and is willing to work on you daily to improve those!;) I have beautiful children who are my reason for getting up in the morning - literally! I find so much joy in them and their accomplishments. I love hearing how excited they are about things, love listening to them talk to each other ( you can find out so much about them that way, and I have always been an excellent eavesdropper!) My heart aches for the trials and challenges they face, but I know if we face them together and I give them the tools that I was given of a foundation of faith in the Lord, that they will be stronger and better for them.
I also have some really great friends. One's who really know me and love me anyway! How grateful I am for them and their influence on me!
I love that I have been given this moment to enjoy who I am and be grateful for all that surrounds me and enjoy this day in my journey.
