Quick Update!!

I used to live for blogging... now I take a quick look at FB now and then and that's about it! I still love blogging and love to read friends and families blogs too! I have a few minutes before I am due at the restaurant, so I will do a quick update!
We finally got moved! It was a long 2 week process and things weren't the happiest of circumstances at the time, but it's over!! I would not say we are settled yet as I have not been home much in the bast 3 weeks, finishing up baseball and work in Layton, so there is still much to do on the home front!! Right now my washer is in the laundry room and my dryer is in the garage!! As I am so fabulous at laundry anyway, this makes my life so much easier;)!
The kids seem to be adjusting fine, the rain has made everyone grumpy, but now that the sun is out, they usually are too! They haven't made a lot of friends yet, but some times that takes school starting to happen!! I did take them swimming yesterday in Layton, but we all got burned,(I used last years sunscreen:() Oh well, we had fun!
Texas Pride Barbecue is quite the adventure!! I do think it is ironic that I chose never to work in the food industry and now I am basically married to it!! Oh well!
We have been doing pretty well. The word is getting out and we are starting to get busier. We hope it picks up with the better weather. We have been having live music on Saturday nights and that has been fun. It is fun to mingle with the customers and here peoples stories... that is my favorite part. It is a lot of hard work and stress on occasions, but we have had some excellent feed back and good suggestions... so we continue on and hope and pray for the best!
That's about it in a nutshell - I have left out all the fun stuff like a flu bug that went around the family and the exhaustion - but who wants to read about that? Not me!!
Anyway... doing good and loving it... come what may!!
