Hitting the 'Terror Barrier" and going on anyway!!

Out back!

Last year I went to a Seminar given by Leslie Householder, author of 'The Jack Rabbit Factor' (a fabulous book that I highly recommend) and she said that often times when we are following our dreams and believing in ourselves and the fabulous outcome - we get to the point of having it almost happen and we hit something called the 'Terror Barrier' where we start doubting our ability to actually live our dream... and we stop and or give up on it and ourselves to go back to what is comfortable. (That was my own paraphrasing!)
Well, ever since I have known Greg... so almost 15 years... he has wanted to own his own BBQ Restaurant. I have for the most part always encouraged him to follow this dream - but I don't think I ever really saw it coming true.(I know... 'oh ye of little faith') Well a few weeks ago, we fond the perfect place that encompasses everything we have ever talked about doing. It's an old BBQ restaurant in Huntsville, UT. It has since been other restaurants, but the point being, it has almost everything we need to get started. The place is in great condition and is very reasonable as far as the lease. There is a park out back and lost of fun places to hole outdoor concerts, movie nights etc. We really like the owner as well... it just seems to be falling into place. So today, Greg and his friend and partner Eric, are going up to sign the lease and put the deposit on our restaurant!! Am I scared... a little! This is a huge change for all of us and it is actually scary to try living your dreams! However, for once I am not going to turn around at the Terror Barrier... we are going to pursue this and make it a huge success! We hope to open the first week of June!! So all y'all are welcome to put a trip to Huntsville on your calendar for the best barbecue ever... Texas Pride Barbecue - deep in the heart of UTAH!!
Wish us luck, Keep us in your prayers and any and all donations will gladly be accepted!!:)
