It's been a funny week - not necessarily Ha! Ha! funny, but sometimes! To start off, Tues night I came home to Greg running out the door looking for our puppy. The kids had left the back gate open and she was gone. Sp we mounted the search... it's dark and she is black and we searched along with my sister and her husband for around 2 hours with nothing to show - that is until Greg made a bathroom stop and heard cans falling off the shelf in the food storage room below - yep there is Lexie, in the food storage room, even though several of us had gone downstairs calling her name - never made a sound!!
Then the colds hit - Bryn and I have been sick all weekend, her with pink eye included, sooo yuck! There are a couple of others that are suffering now as well. Anyway, we left for St.George about 2 hours later than we had originally intended. When we arrived we went for a quick swim and then headed over to see Caden's Best friend Dexter. We then went to dinner and to an amazing show at Tuacahn - Joseph - A Nashville Tribute to a Prophet. It was opened by Due West - and amazing new country group (they have the best sound and harmonies... the lead singer Tim Gates just happens to be my friend Dani's brother and of course Dexter's uncle) they are Due West and are fabulous - the three of them were part of the show. They did songs from the Joseph album as well as the Trek album. Anyway it was fabulous and made me so excited to go on trek this year with my family! Greg ran into some friends from his mission - Sis. Hall and daughters, so we chatted with them after the ow and ended up at their hamburger place - MARV'S in St. George after the show for a really late night shake and onion rings. We chatted with the performers and writers aka - Jason Deere is the writer along with Dan Truman - seriously, if you haven't heard these go buy them!! Then we went back to the hotel for bed. The next day we woke up, went and picked up Dex and Caden for the afternoon and ate again at Marv's, then went to the wildlife museum, oh and the outlets!! so much fun with 6 kids!! After we took Dexter home and said goodbye, we headed for Zions, where we were staying the night. We got there in time to unload and head over to the IMAX to catch Corraline - horrible popcorn, way to pricey and an interesting show, but not the highlight for the kids. Went to late dinner and to bed. Next morning, drove through the beautiful canyon, took a mild hike in some crazy wind and headed home! The only color I got from our trip down south was the red dirt embedded into my skin from the wind! The drive home was loooooong! WE had to find windshield wipers and luckily did at a truck stop, went to the bathroom in the dark as the power was out in Scipio and finally made it home to crash in our beds and try to recover!!
So there it is, my uninteresting travel log! We did have a good time - I am sure it will be even better the next time we go when we aren't sick!!
I will load pics just as soon as I can figure out how to unload this dang camera!!

Sounds like you had a great time. Lots of stuff packed in that's for sure. I've never heard of Due West.
I love Zions National Park--so beautiful.
Our Stake is doing Trek this year and it will be my first time.
