Fell in love with two beautiful brown eyes... a soft, shiny coat and the sweetest personality! AKA: Lexie!
Greg took me to see Marley and Me for my birthday - (rented out the whole theater - so I could have the place to myself in case I lost it! ;)) I think that was the beginning of the end for our dog less family! The kids have been begging us to get one again and we just felt like our family wasn't whole with out a four legged friend! I found her online, we called to see if we could see her and ended up taking her home. She is a sweetheart... I feel a little like we are starting where we left off, which is weird, but she is different from Sadie in many ways. The kids love her and Greg and I do too! Remind me of that if... I mean when I am having a moment of 'what was I thinking!!!'
Just as a side note... when her previous owner was putting her in our car... Brie was bawling and screaming "Don't buy that dog, Don't buy that dog... I want a baby puppy!" She has changed her tune and now wants to show everyone her dog that she named 'Lexie'!

I wondered when/if you were going to get another dog. She is a beautiful dog. So glad Brie is happy.
I still haven't seen Marley and me--I think I'm afraid I couldn't handle it.

What a pretty dog! How fun for your kids. Mine totally want one, but I am not up for it. We'll have to come and visit Lexie and get our dog fix.
