It's so easy to waste the day away!!

I have to somewhat qualify that as I don't feel it is a total waste to relax and do nothing...but I am sure I could have accomplished a lot more today than I have!
Today the kids were out of school and I was off work, so I took a long hot bath, read some for me and some with the girls, played a computer game with the girls and watched some of the inauguration, and pretty much have done little else! I am still in my pj's and it feels great!! Of course that is all about to end as Greg is now home and the kids are in their swim suits waiting to go swim. We promised them we would go sometime this past weekend as we didn't make it to St. George! Somehow, it just seems to cold to get in the let's go swimming mood, and heaven knows I would prefer my pj's to a swimming suit any day of the week, but I did promise!!
I am amazed that the day is already gone... but I did enjoy the break from the daily grind! Would love to hear what any of you thought of the inaguration if you saw or heard any of it!!

Those kinds of days are great!!!!

You're a good mom--I'd prefer my pj's to a swimming suit, too.

I enjoyed the inauguration and felt great hope.

I enjoyed the inauguration. I love to see how peaceful the change happens. I love hearing about all the traditions.

I definately prefer pj's to a swim suit. I did not watch any of the inauguration. I just couldn't do it!

i missed the inauguration however i watched the parade a little and then watched their moving trucks sitting in front of the white house being un packed, and thought did they show the bushs packing their own truck or possible Obama packing it for them??? and then I thought wow how would it be to have someone pack your stuff up.

I love those days. Staying in your pj's is the best thing you can do. Then you are forced to stay home.

I'm glad that you do get days like that, and I'm sure your kiddos are too. Enjoy them since they don't happen often.

Take care!

Relaxation is an art that requires much practice to perfect.
