The good ol days.. revisited!

Last night my sister called to see if we wanted mom and dad's old record player... which is huge! We drove over to look at it and decided to take it for fun! We brought it home and the kids were so excited by this 'new' delivery - this will hugely date me I know... but we pulled out my senior year Madrigal Record - (yes I said record) to play for the kids! They were amazed to see me, their mom, on the back cover, then as we pulled it out of the sleeve my little Bryn said 'Wow... that is a huge disc!" That made us chuckle! What really made me chuckle was reliving the memories through the songs... can anyone say 'SOS... somebody help me ... amen!" Okay possibly only my fellow madrigal Kelli will get that one, but it was funny!!
It's amazing what memories the music brings back! Fun times - at least looking back on them is fun!!
I have been out of the computer world for a week because of Internet issues and am playing catch up! I had 83 emails to go through! My life has been so crazy and busy, I have actually been going to bed before 10, because I am to exhausted to do anything else! I've been working a lot more than I ever planned on and that should be tapering off in the near future, so that will help, but there is always something! I need the super nanny to come organize me! Is there a free organizational person out there that wants to take charge of my life?!
Anyway it's been fun to read every ones blogs and catch up, sorry i didn't leave comments on all of them, but time is limited! I am only writing now because there were no patients when I went n to work this morning, so I asked to be sent home until this afternoon, so that I could catch up on cleaning! Well, I have cleaned out my inbox... but the rest of the house is waiting!!

You are amazing. I hope thing slow down soon. That is so funny about the records, Kyra found my "Thiller" record a few months ago and took it to school to show everyone. I guess we are old!!!

SOS! Hilarious! The song itself was only made funnier by Bill doing the choreography in the front row! Ha, haa, haaa!

That must have been so fun--I don't even know where all my old albums or records are.

(Do high schools still have madrigals???)

I am the worst at organizing.

Those are great big disc's! LOL Do you have my Donald Clark Osmond and the Osmond Christmas Albums? Also there was a Sergio Franchi and a girl whose name I can't remember. You can have the Scott Baio album. I know I am too generous! Let me know if those other are in there.

Okay I remembered the name of the record I would really like if you have it. It is The Dream Duet album by Sergio Franchi and Anna Moffo. Let me know if it is in the collection or if you even got the collection of albums.

It has been said we can't take it with us. But memories are the gold we do take. They make us wealthy now and in the here-after.
