Have you ever been so tired that you wonder if you are sleepwalking through the day? I'm there right now! Even the thought of having to do one more thing just exhausts me! I blame it on never catching up on sleep from the move and then of course the Olympics!! Even when I know I should be sleeping... I can't stop watching! It's ironic that as I am feeling this tired, I heard a thing on the radio saying that you really can't 'catch up' on sleep per say.... but it is important to let your body decide how much it needs. You are supposed to go to bed and not set an alarm or have anything that would wake you up and then see when you naturally wake up to see how many hours you need. I ask you... as a mother, how am I ever supposed to find out how much sleep I need?! I guess for now I will take what I can get when I can get it! I wish all of the Olympians well, but will bid them adieu for now! (Now I have the sound of Music's 'So long, Farewell' song in my head! LOL!)
After work tonight I took Austin to walk through his 7th grade schedule and meet the teachers. We ran into a couple of kids h knew, but I ran into a lot of people I know from living in Syracuse! He didn't think that was fair, but I told him, the parents really haven't changed it's the kids that are growing and are unrecognizable! I hope he has a fabulous year! He has a pretty good first schedule as far as location of classes and locker! It's so weird having a kid this age! I remember it so well.
Wow! I just totally zoned out! Time to hit the sack!

The Olympics are doing a number on all of us. They are almost over--thank goodness. In four years, we have London which will not be quite so bad.
In the meantime, catch a few winks here and there.
If it isn't the Olympics it will be something else. I can't stop doing stuff at night time! It is so quiet! Mornings are deadly though!
I agree! The olympics are doing me in too. But they are almost over! I have convince Layne to start getting up with me a little after 5am to start exercising. That way we will hopefully be going to bed a little earlier! We will start in September. When the routine of school is set and the olympics are over. Wish us luck! LOL
I have the same problem with the Olympics, I'm dead tired at 8:00 pm but just can't turn off the TV. I hope Austin has a great year this year at school!
